covid-19 policy
The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the government has set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions which Valley View Ranch adheres to comply.
We understand that this is a very challenging time for couples to plan and prepare for their weddings, especially when recommendations by the government are changing frequently. To protect our home and the family business, we must follow these guidelines to ensure that we can stay in business and continue to make these wedding dreams a reality for our couples. However, please know we understand how this could potentially effect your special day and we will do our best to accommodate our couples while staying within the agreements of the contract.
Here at Valley View Ranch, we are exclusively an outdoor wedding venue, where there is more relaxed rules and less limitations compared to indoor venues. We will follow Lane County and state guidelines in accordance with the event size restrictions for outdoor events. In the event that lockdown restrictions for event sizes drop below 50 persons, we will allow those who booked a Friday-Sunday event to reschedule their event date to another available day within the 2023 calendar year with no fee. As stated in our contract, our couples will assume all Covid-19 liability and ensure that the proper precautions have been set in place and passed along to their guests and vendors.
Thank you so much for your understanding.
