what is the venue capacity?

Due to somewhat limited parking on the mountain, we request a maximum guest list of 125 persons, including the bridal party.

do your wedding packages include tables and chairs?

Our wedding package includes tables and chairs for up to 125 persons. Our chairs are white and we provide 8 foot long rectangular tables. However, we do not provide table linens. Please click here to see a list of vendors that you can contact for this service.

do you have any indoor space available in the event of unfortunate weather conditions?

Unfortunately, we do not have an indoor space available. However, our reception lawn can fit up to a 40 x 60 foot rental tent, and the ceremony lawn can fit a smaller tent as well. can we choose our own caterer?

Absolutely! You can choose to have a caterer, food truck, or you may even provide your own food. We do not offer any catering services at our venue, nor is there access to an on-site kitchen or refrigeration. If you prepare your own food, food must come ready-to-serve.

what is the venue’s policy on alcohol?

We allow only beer, wine, and champagne. NO HARD ALCOHOL allowed on property. All alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender. We do NOT allow alcohol to be served by a family member or friend with an OLCC license. NO self-serving of alcohol will be allowed on the property outside of the licensed bartender. is there an insurance requirement?

Yes, this is required. Special event liability insurance of $1,000,000 is required for all couples. The insurance, at the renter’s sole expense, will provide and maintain public liability and personal property damage insurance. This will include insuring Valley View Ranch, contractors, and contracted vendors against bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and other loss arising out of the couple’s use and occupancy of the premises. If serving alcohol, this policy will also need to include Host Liquor Liability coverage to protect you from alcohol related accidents, as you are ultimately liable for the safety of your guests. Please submit a copy of the certificate of both insurances to Valley View Ranch at least 30 days prior to your event.

is there a bridal suite available for getting ready?

YES! We have a beautiful bridal suite overlooking the venue site. We also have a separate smaller location for the groom and groomsmen to get dressed on-site.

what is your cancellation policy?

In the event of a cancellation, Valley View Ranch requires written notice. A couple’s deposit is non-refundable as it reflects the venue owner’s inability to book another event on this date and potentially lose revenue. Contact us for more in-depth information regarding our cancellation policy.

are there restrooms on-site?

We do not allow access to the restrooms inside the home to guests. However, we do give an exception to the bride. We will provide portable restrooms for the bridal party, families, and guests to use in a designated location.

do you provide a day-of coordinator?

We do not, but we would love to direct you to some really great local day-of coordinators. Please click here to see a list of vendors that you can contact for this service.

can we host a ceremony rehearsal at the venue?

Yes you may! For Saturday weddings, we offer couples the opportunity to come to the venue site for 2 hours on Friday afternoon for early set-up and ceremony rehearsal. However, we do not allow rehearsal dinner to take place on the property.

are we allowed access to the pool and the patio surrounding it?

No. For the safety of our couples and their guests, we lock up the pool gates and do not allow anyone to enter. However, we do open the pool cover and turn on the surrounding lights for added ambiance.

are we allowed use of sparklers and access to the fire pit?

We sure love a good bonfire! But we want to make sure we do our part to help keep this extremely wooded area safe. It will depend on the fire danger level and any local restrictions set in place. Our team at Valley View Ranch will follow any local recommendations and decide accordingly. Thank you for understanding.
